I believe that every family has the right to be an informed, active participant in the birth of their children. I strive to inspire parents to approach labor and birth with confidence and strength, allowing them to embrace the choices they will make along the path to welcoming their baby to the world. I am a strong supporter of using evidence, science, and informed decision-making to be an advocate for yourself throughout pregnancy and childbirth.
Teaching Style: Non-judgmental, Energetic, Conversational, Supportive.

What is your favorite thing about teaching?
I love sharing my excitement for childbirth and parenting and watching students get engaged in new concepts and ideas.
Personal Interests:
I currently live in Woodinville with my husband, two children (born in 2012 and 2015), and our sweet dog, who is an adorable beagle-chihuahua mix and thinks she was truly our first baby. We are originally from the east coast and have been here since 2008. I love to cook, read, craft, knit, travel, and explore the PNW (especially the Pacific coast ocean beaches) with my family.
