Classes Taught: Childbirth Preparation Series
My goal for my students is that they walk away from class feeling informed and confident to make decisions that will allow them to have a positive birth experience. Birth is a transformative experience that stays in our memories forever, and I believe that education is a major step towards the positive birth memories we all deserve.
Teaching Style: Evidence-based, Energetic, Passionate, Conversational.
Background:
I hold a bachelors degree in Mathematics, and worked in banking for a few years until the birth of my child. I became fascinated in learning everything I could about birth during my pregnancy, and instead of having that interest wane after giving birth myself, I became even more inspired to share my passion for birth with others. I went on to become a Certified Childbirth Educator and have been teaching since 2022.
Favorite Thing About Teaching:
Seeing families walk away feeling like they learned something useful and that their questions were answered.
Personal Interests:
I live in South Seattle with my husband and our daughter. I love getting outside for walks, cooking and baking new recipes, and traveling with my family.
