Class Overview
The Conscious Fathering course empowers new fathers with practical, hands-on skills that they can immediately use to help bond and care for their new baby.
This class is for expectant and new dads, or father-figures, only.
Dads will learn about their newborn baby’s 5 basic needs and how to anticipate meeting the needs of their new baby. This class helps new fathers build a partnership with mom in helping care for and nurture their children from the very first day. Taught by men for men to allow for a unique experience related to skill development and building a frame for how you want to father. Registration is per person.

Class Topics
This class offers new fathers insight into preparing for those precious first few months of baby’s life. It covers how to meet baby’s five basic needs.
We also discuss how to begin to develop your own definition of what kind of a father you want to be, and how you want to interact with your child as an integral part of healthy development. How you care for your child from the very first day will build the foundation for your relationship.
Are you ready to embrace fatherhood, immerse yourself in your child’s life, and strive to be a true partner in all aspects of your child’s development?
Logistics
Time / place: Three-hour class. We offer this class several times a month typically with evenings (6:30-9:30 p.m.) and Saturday morning options (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.). Conscious Fathering is offered in-person and online.
Other Details: This class can be taken at any time, but most fathers choose to take it 1 – 4 months before their baby will arrive to get the most out of the class.
