Marni’s summary and comments:
This “story” starts out quite clearly explaining, “This is a book with no pictures.” True. The catch that makes it fun? The reader–you, dear parent–has to read every word written in the book. No matter what.
And off we go, with you saying the silliest things, from nonsense words, to calling yourself a “monkey who taught myself to read,” to having to sing about eating ants for breakfast…etc. Your little ones will start with a giggle and then a roar as they anticipate the next silly thing you’ll have to say!
